Maternal morbidity during pregnancy is an important issue due to the fact that it contributes quite significantly to the maternal mortality rate. Current Management of Disease in Pregnancy (CANDY) 2018 is one of the seminars and workshops held by Panitia Pelantikan Lulusan Dokter 2019-2020 in collaboration with the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. This event aims to help health workers identify and manage a variety of diseases in pregnancy.

Being held for general practitioners, medical specialists, midwives, as well as medical students, this seminar is coming up with the topics of the most common diseases in pregnancy. We hope that this event can enrich knowledge and skill of health workers, so that maternal morbidity number and the related causes can be reduced.
